She hides in the car of two not too bright crooks who are slowly converted into parent figures as the police web closes down on the supposed kidnappers.。形形色色的人们——一名高中生、一位中年商人、黑帮头目等——都收到了三个月前在海难中逝去的亲人发来的神秘讯息。他们被指示当晚前往濑户内海的一座小岛。午夜钟声敲响时，那艘失踪的船只从海中浮现，逝者与生者得以短暂重逢，互诉最后的话语。而后亡者必须再度登船，随沉船永葬海底。。
