本剧以日本镰仓和韩国釜山为舞台，描写了不断变化的时代中家庭故事：住在镰仓老家的自由编辑长女涩谷叶子（松隆子饰）、工作不稳定的妹妹涩谷都子（多部未华子饰）、在江之岛电铁担任保线员的弟弟涩谷潮（松坂桃李饰）三姐弟，在交通事故中失去了父母和祖母。在二十三次忌的法事回来的路上，都子突然告知大家“去韩国吧！”以此为契机，姐弟各自迎来人生分岔路。与此同时，姐姐遇上了痴迷于叶子并执拗地纠缠她的人气作家·百目鬼见（星野源饰）。。In 1968, five friends set out on a 5,000-mile road trip in a white Ford van bound for South America.
