The story follows the Morels, including two teenagers and a 7-year-old kid who are driving their parents out of their minds. One morning, they all wake up inside each other's bodies.。民国三十八年，国民政府从大陆撤退台湾，带来了六十万大军，他们以为不久就能反攻大陆回家了。没想到一呆四十年，两岸才开放。于是，这群老兵成为台湾与大陆间最尴尬的一群人！导演的父亲也是老兵，而导演老奶奶的一支银簪子，则让导演走进了父亲的世界……。
