《全金属狂潮》第四季动画将于2018年4月开播，动画由XEBEC制作。《全金》的第四季动画也是有生之年系列，距离京都动画当年的第三季已经有将近12年的时间。在2016年的Fantasia学园祭上公布《全金属狂潮 IV》这个标题时官方就说明“IV” 不是罗马数字4，1月19日第四季的副标题正式公布，“IV”是两个英文单词的首字母缩写——“Invisible Victory”（无形的胜利）。。Roscoe and Buster operate a combination garage and fire station. In the first half they destroy a car left for them to clean. In the second half they go off on a false alarm and return to find their own building on fire.。Mr. North, a stranger to a small, but wealthy, Rhode Island town, quickly has rumors started about him that he has the power to heal people's ailments. The rumors are magnified by his tendency to collect negative charges and give shocks to anyone he touches. In his adventures he befriends an old man who is a shut-in and helps him rediscover the world.。
