警察李惠明是个玩世不恭的家伙，行为作风很是随意。他甚至会借故跟晨练的女孩相撞趁机占便宜。不过，在抓罪犯方面，他还是尽职尽责，警队的员工都称呼他为大情人，尤其是老警察亚彪跟他配合默契。不过，新来的女上司却对他们很是看不惯。有一次，他在餐厅为了素未谋面的女模特安妮大打出手。后来，在抓捕罪犯大烟枪的过程中，他再次碰到了上次搭救的安妮，得知她正遭受骚扰。原来她换衣服时被摄影师男友瑞奇偷拍，后者以此逼她就范。为了帮安妮出气同时展开恋情，大情人挺身而出当众教训了男友，由此遭到了对方的嫉恨。后来，在一次办案中，他将借故捣乱的男友送进了精神病院。不想，后者偷偷逃出了精神病院，并开始了凶残的报复行动……。The 1960s was an extraordinary time for the United States.
