演員未必懂拍戲，但性格演員拍戲，就得另眼相看了─經驗之談來的。三男三生， 一人有一個傳奇。《尺蠖》（張震）講失業男的處境。光碟不住轉動，武器不住轉動， 一天，小女孩彎着眼對他笑，生活終於衝開了重複單調的闖關日子，世界開始在變。 《殺手與老人》（鄭雨盛）的職業殺手，在健身室工作掩飾身份，但盜亦有道，知道這個客仔，原來是目標老頭的兒子，他推翻交易。不過，殺手費愈喊愈高。《橘子》（吳鎮宇）講越獄亡命的逃犯，又飢又渴又骯髒，一個慈祥的大橘子，叫疲倦身軀猛然曉得歸處。。历凌峰，原是中国特警队队队员，在一次阻击国外恐怖分子的任务中，任务失败，而目睹了队友的牺牲，非常自责，选择了退役，后加入了保镖公司，成为一名保镖。富商担忧女儿刘梦瑶跟社会上不良青年接触，请凌峰做女儿的保镖。刘梦瑶对父亲的逆反心理很深，对这个突然冒出的保镖很不顺眼，却又无可奈何。俩人之间摩擦不断，但凌峰只管完成任务，不顺着你的小姐脾气，让刘子明满意，让刘梦瑶却无可奈何。刘子明让梦瑶去泰国参加MBA精英管理学的学术会。凌峰做为贴身保镖陪着梦瑶一同前往泰国。而在泰国，凌峰遭遇了那帮杀害战友的恐怖分子，以安达斯为首的恐怖份子绑架了这些富豪子女，意欲勒索赎金。凌峰为救回这些人质，于恐怖分子展开生死较量。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
