这部电影讲述了新化农村留守儿童马东在进城寻父和学演傩戏的过程中锻炼成长的故事。马东住在湘中山区，父亲去了省城打工，母亲的猝然去世让他生活失去了支柱。单身的傩戏演员老钟叔以拜师为条件监护马东，马东却一直和老钟叔闹别扭。马东去省城找父亲，寻父路上，马东和老钟叔历经艰苦，碰见各式各样的人与事，而父亲马福贵却闭门不见。原来，他早已和马东的母亲离婚。父亲找不到了。马东一招一式地习练着傩戏，他要自己长大……。When 38-year-old Natasha is unexpectedly landed with a baby, her life of doing what she wants, when she wants, dramatically implodes.
