This story relates to our lives as we strive to do our best, not just in sports, school but also relationships between friends...。乡村小学生壮壮暑假时跟随在省体校打工的母亲一起生活,耳濡目染,深深喜欢上了乒乓球运动。回到小山村后，壮壮和小伙伴们在困难的环境中仍然坚持着自己的这一爱好，并得到了学校周校长和小金老师的支持，成立了一支乒乓球队。爱孙心切的爷爷怕壮壮因为痴迷乒乓而荒废学业，对此非常反对。因无法说服固执的爷爷，壮壮怒而离家出走，却意外摔伤了手臂。在小金老师的劝说下，爷孙终于尽释前嫌……。《少年之名铁勺记事簿》是青春逐梦同行成长类综艺《少年之名》的衍生节目，节目补充展现了少年们日常练习生活以及舞台表演内容。。
