In 1965, Bob Crane, who had achieved some earlier success as a television supporting actor, was working as a successful morning radio DJ at KNX Los Angeles. Despite enjoying his work, photography (especially of the female form) and drumming, Crane wanted to be a movie star. So it was with some reluctance that he accepted the title starring role in a new television sitcom called...。《城市猎人》TV动画共有4部，另有3话TV Special，4部分别是《城市猎人》、《城市猎人2》、《城市猎人3》与《城市猎人'91》，皆为读卖电视台与日升动画制作、日本电视系首播。。在美墨边境有个无人荒岛，一般人从不敢登陆造访，因为岛上只有嗑药的流浪汉及前科犯人。一天有一对不怕死的年轻人却在岛上莫名消失了，德州州警格兰强森奉命追查真相，决定向无人岛挑战，并跨越国界到一个陌生的荒岛办案。在办案的过程中，格兰强森发掘了真相，却也经历了许多极端的选择与矛盾，加上唯一女证人梅兰达，又是如何介入格兰强森覆杂的侦查呢？。
