一组科学家被派到南非的一个沙漠中进行一项调查工作。在那里他们碰到了一种不明生物以及一堆埋于沙漠中的尸体。而他们也遭到不明生物的袭击。一场冒险和人兽斗就于这个沙漠中展开。究竟他们能否逃脱这个不明生物的魔掌呢。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。
