张铁翼得知神母峰有宝藏的传说，曲家堡和附近的柳家庄为了宝藏传说械斗不断。张铁翼调查后得知实情：丁小壮的父亲是乐善好施的古董商人，被曲柳两家的歹人杀害，但临终嘱他不可复仇。丁长大后仍然常散财济贫，歹人又来争夺，他索性继续散财，引诱两家自相残杀。张铁翼说服他放弃复仇，但两家利令智昏，继续争斗，张铁翼带着丁来到现场及时阻止了悲剧。。The story sees after a young man transferred from juvenile to adult prison, where he is taken under the wing of both Australia’s most despised criminal, and a soon-to-be-a-paroled inmate.
