《人生典当行之三世乾坤》讲述了在现代都市中的各个阶层的人群，在生活中遭遇到的种种问题的时候，来到本真书吧寻求帮助，书吧老板光年作为噎鸣的使者，在后土的化身仁慈的指引下为帮助不同人得到了他们自己不同的结局……这部影片通过讲述现代社会种种人群的生活百态，展现了手机店老板、水果摊贩老板一家三口、女企业家、恋人、父女等等不同类型的人他们的生活片段，同时又用明德的人生遭遇阐述了“人生典当行”的运作模式，在故事结构上从民国时代的典当行到当代书店，这种转换穿插来作为故事背景主核心，成为并不多见的创作手法。通过典当行的经理人光年和仁慈（他们是后土和噎鸣的化身）用第三视角观看人们的种种不同遭遇，表了达人间正道是沧桑的道理，也揭示了善必然会得到回报，恶也必得到惩罚的普世价值。同时通过光年的言行，表达当付出总有回报的人生领悟。抒发了人们对人生应该时常反思和醒悟，珍惜所处的时刻，做一名有益的人。。Kathir works as an IT professional at Dindigul and visited his village on a holiday in order to attend his elder brother's wedding but only to realise that the wedding has been cancelled.
