《穿越无人区》是优酷自制大型荒野生存真人秀节目。六个性格迥异的都市年轻人在一位不近人情的领队带领下，在7月份这个死亡季节闯入被称作“死亡之海”的罗布泊无人区。他们没有任何户外生存经验，却要面对70度的高温、铺天盖地的恐怖沙暴、瞬息万变的极端气候、迷路、失陷、走失等种种困难。他们将如何应对危险与挫折？他们将如何战胜迷茫和绝望？他们是否能团结一心走出荒漠？。Joe Bell is a penny-pinching hermit saving for the day when his real life will begin.
