台湾青年顾亦航（刘恩佑饰）带女友美媛（吉祥饰）来大陆度假，给他们做导游的童瑶（金莎饰）不幸被车撞伤。车祸后医生检查出童瑶患有“脊髓小脑变性症”，这对她和母亲何亚洁（杨贵媚饰）无疑是一声晴天霹雳，何亚洁心生绝望，而女儿的男友石磊（杨烁饰）也绝情离去。心生愧疚的亦航为了看望童瑶每周奔波于金门和厦门之间，他不断鼓励想放弃治疗的童瑶，不要放弃活下去的希望。时间一久，他对童瑶产生了爱恋之心。当亦航的父亲（岳跃利饰）得知儿子要与患病的童瑶结婚，大发雷霆，声明要跟儿子断绝父子关系。而何亚洁也不赞成亦航的想法，她怕处于生命倒计时的女儿在最后的时光里留下心灵阴霾，但亦航决心已定......。A group of aliens has come to Earth to learn about its population, customs, etc. To avoid detection, they have taken on human form which gives them human emotions, physical needs etc. WITHOUT the understanding of what they mean or the inhibitions normally present in humans.
